My February 2021 Book List

My February 2021 Book List

February - the proof that acquiring a new habit is by intention, not by accident.

After a promising start to being intentional in my reading in January 2021, I kinda lost focus on my reading habits this month. Initially, I planned to read personal finance books this whole month of February but, alas, I only managed to read two of them.

Love Your Life Not Theirs by Rachel Cruze

The first book written entirely by Rachel Cruze (not counting Smart Money, Smart Kids that she co-wrote with her dad, Dave Ramsey) was also first book that I read this month. I actually wrote a blog post about Love Your Life Not Theirs right after I finished it.

Everyday Millionaires by Chris Hogan

The other personal finance book I read was from Chris Hogan, another Ramsey personality and best-selling author. Everyday Millionaires shows us how ordinary people can become millionaires and how most of our beliefs on how to become a millionaire are misconceptions. This book that was based on a research on 10,000 millionaires in the USA is both inspirational and educational.

Bareknuckle Bastards Series by Sarah MacLean

While I only read two nonfiction books this month, it didn't mean that I already failed in my a book a week target for this year. February was a busy month for me but I still was able to squeeze three romance novels into my busy schedule. I'm referring to Sarah MacLean's Bareknuckle Bastards series:

  • Book 1: Wicked and the Wallflower - featuring Felicity and Devil (Devon)
  • Book 2: Brazen and the Beast - the story of Hattie and Whit
  • Book 3: Daring and the Duke - presenting Grace and Ewan

To sum it all up, I think I still reached my goal of reading one book per week. I actually checked my reading goals this year and found out there were no criteria as to what book it was. It won't be cheating if I add fiction books in my book count, right? A breather from nonfiction books helps me keep going. 😄

Anyway, what book(s) have you read recently? If you loved reading it, please do recommend it in the comments section below.

Love and light everyone!
