Georyl Sings "Let It Go"

Do you remember the time when kids can't get enough of Elsa and Anna of the Frozen movie?

Hello 2020!

New Year’s Day. A day of new hopes, new beginnings.

Do you often wonder why resolutions are quite popular at the start of the year? I believe that it is so because the start of new year signals a clean slate, an opportunity to do better than the last year, and a reset button for of all the opportunities, chances, misses and failures of the past year.

Unlike the previous years, though, I didn’t come up with a new year’s resolution this year. After four decades, I already know that keeping my new year’s resolution is one of my weaknesses. I’m not going to kid myself with a wish list list of resolutions anymore. I actually have broken countless of my new year’s resolution within just a day into the year. So, no, I pass this time. (insert grin here)

Instead, I’ll just say thanks to a great 2019 and open this year with a prayer.

Lord God, please continue to bless, protect and guide us and our loved ones this year and always. Protect and direct our leaders and spare our country from natural disasters. Heal us from our ailments and sickness, both physical and spiritual. Listen to the plea of your people and help us defeat the evil. Give us strength and wisdom, and show us how to further your Kingdom . As we embark this journey into a new year, I know you won’t forsake us and will always be there for us. We thank, praise and glorify you.

For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. - Matthew 6:13 NKJV

Amen.
